"The Association"). These Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as "T&Cs") govern your use of our website and membership services. By accessing our website and/or becoming a member, you agree to comply with and be bound by these T&Cs. Please read them carefully.

TERMS & CONDITIONS - THE BASICS

Membership Eligibility

  1. Eligibility: Membership is open to individuals, companies, and organizations involved in the events industry. All applicants must provide accurate and complete information during the application process.

  2. Approval: Membership applications are subject to approval by SCIEA. SCIEA reserves the right to reject any application without providing a reason.

Membership Types and Fees

  1. Types of Membership: SCIEA offers various types of memberships. Details about each membership type, including benefits and fees, are available on SCIEA’s website.

  2. Fees: Membership fees are payable based on the memberships information provided. SCIEA reserves the right to change membership fees at any time. Existing members will be notified of any changes in fees before their next renewal date.

Member Obligations

  1. Compliance: Members must comply with these T&Cs and all applicable laws and regulations.

  2. Conduct: Members are expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner and not engage in any conduct that could harm the reputation of the Association.

  3. Information Updates: Members must promptly update their contact information and any other relevant details on the Association's website.

Governing Law & Amendments

These T&Cs shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the associations governing body. The Association reserves the right to amend these T&Cs at any time. Members will be notified of any significant changes. Continued use of the website and membership services after such changes will constitute acceptance of the new T&Cs.

Benefits and Services

Termination and Cancellation

  3. Effect of Termination: Upon termination or cancellation of membership, all member benefits and access to services will cease immediately.
