About Us, SCEIA
The Sunshine Coast Events Industry Association (SCEIA) evolved from the Events Industry Task Force. The Task Force comprised industry representatives and was established in 2020 by the Sunshine Coast Council (SCC) to independently advise on pressing matters for the region’s events industry that had been identified in research conducted by University of the Sunshine Coast. The Task Force progressed to incorporation in 2023 as a not-for-profit representative body.
